Notes
If using a mason jar, be sure to start with cold water. Furthermore, it is imperative to let the water cool gradually so that your glass will not shatter. The video guide might be slightly different than the blog recipe. The blog recipe is the most updated and accurate.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
In a smaller bowl, beat together the water, egg, and 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil until well mixed.
To the large bowl, add the wet ingredients from the small bowl and mix together. Knead with your hands until the dough comes together. Don't knead too much!
Split the dough into two balls. Let the balls of dough rest for at least as long as it takes for the oven to heat to 400 F – about 30 minutes.
Line your cookie sheets with parchment paper. Place one ball of dough on each cookie sheet and roll the dough out as thin as possible, the thinner the dough, the crispier the flatbread.
Brush each flatbread with 1 tablespoon each of the remaining olive oil (and sprinkle with sea salt if desired).
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the flatbread is lightly browned and crispy.
While your flatbread is baking, you can make the garlic-cannabutter dip!
Garlic Canna Butter Dip
Melt your cannabutter either in the microwave, or on the stove just until warm.
Mix in your minced garlic and set aside.
You can brush this onto the tops or just dip your flatbread in! Enjoy!
