CBD Anti-Aging Face Yoga – 8 great poses and benefits

You’ve heard of yoga, but have you heard of Face Yoga?

Welcome to your at-home CBD Anti-Aging Face Yoga session with Cannadish!

You’ve probably been to yoga or at the very least seen a yoga class in session somewhere in the park, in a studio or online right?

In any case, the purpose of yoga is to not only stretch the body but stretch the mind. Its name means union or yoke, and it’s been practiced for centuries by sage’s, gurus and yogis in the eastern and western worlds.

When it comes to yoga trends, there are some far-fetched ideas out there but we absolutely LOVE face-yoga!

Yes, you read it right: Face Yoga! It’s a combo of facial exercises, relaxation, and the bonus is that it may improve elasticity in the skin!

Once you have the recipe, you can enjoy our step by step instructions below on how to fully enjoy this wonderfully relaxing CBD face yoga session and the only side-effects are that your skin may look more radiant and refreshed – who doesn’t want that?!

Step 1.

With your facial concoction handy, grab a towel, hairband or hair turban, and a quiet, cozy spot.

Step 2.

Dip into your facial mixture, using both hands, place your middle fingers on the inside of your eyes, and the index finger on the outer edge of your eyes. While your eyes are open, squint your eye muscles quickly and breathe in and out while doing this a minimum of 5 times.

Benefit: Strengthens eye-muscles, elasticity around your eyes for firmer younger-looking skin.

Step 2.

Using a small amount of your CBG facial oil, form your mouth in the shape of an “O”, and then smile, alternate back and forth with these mouth-poses, breathing in and out deeply through the nose for a count of 5.

Benefit: Lifts the cheeks and reduces lines around the mouth.

Step 3.

Place your index finger on the centre of your chin and slowly open and close your mouth as if you are saying “ Bop, Bop, Bop” repeatedly. While doing so, move your neck up and down in a slow nod, breathing in and out. Do this 10 times.

Benefit: Helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Step 4.

Dip into your oil, place all four fingers, of each hand in the center of your forehead, and run outward toward your temples. Repeat this 5 times, breathing in and out deeply each time as you do.

Benefit: Helps relax and reduce the brow area and may reduce wrinkles or fine lines here as well.

Step 5.

Using a little more CBD facial oil mixture, place your all four fingers of each hand underneath your chin, in gentle stroking motions, rub from chin to decollete and back up again 10 times while breathing in and out.

Benefit: This helps to tighten the skin around the chin and relaxes the throat chakra. ( the energy center that is said to be responsible for communication)

Step 6.

Take a pea-sized drop of your mixture, and place your index fingertip in the center of your face, just between the eyebrows. Rub here in circles 10 times breathing in and out and then change directions doing the same.

Benefit: Help you relax, and possibly sleep better too!

Step 7.

Take a small amount of your CBD facial mixture in each hand, and gently pinch the sides of your jaw beginning at chin center, and pinching upward toward ears. Repeat this 5 times, breathing deeply, feeling more relaxed each time.

Benefits: Lift and tone your jaw area, relieving any tension in the jaw.


Step 8.

Take another small amount in both hands and rub your ears. First, at the ear lobe. Then at the outer-centre, and lastly at the top of your ears. Rub each spot 3-times, breathing in and out. At the end, take a a big deep breath in, and a big, loud deep breath out through the mouth.

Benefit: Improves circulation in the face and helps to brighten skin
