Bathing in Cannabis with CBD Bath Bombs! Great for Fibromyalgia & Improve Sleep.

Picture: CrystalMaeCreations

A nice warm bath with Cannabis oil is liquid relaxation therapy. It is peaceful, soothing, pain relieving, great before you go to sleep and feel good when you wake up the next morning. But there is even more to that.

Over the past few years, cannabis has become a popular supplement among people suffering from arthritis, fibromyalgia and other chronic pain disorders. There are many cannabinoids in the plant, but THC and CBD are the ones “in charge” for fighting pain and inflammation.

A review from 2013 states that cannabidiol (CBD) can help to relieve pain caused by fibromyalgia and other conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis.

While a Cannabis infused Topical lotion can be applied to the skin on the areas affected by arthritis, Fibromyalgia is a medical condition that causes widespread body pain and stiffness in the muscles and joints as well as sleep problems. Having a bath is a great solution to have your whole body relax with cannabis oil, and is great before going to bed. You can simply do this by making cannabis infused bath bombs.

Fibromyalgia patients report that CBD helps greatly with chronic pain, sleep, endurance, anxiety, depression, inflammation, muscle spasms, overall mental health and well-being, mood, and more. Sometimes you will find those who say that CBD oil does not help for them. However, it should be noted that some hemp oils only contain very little CBD while others have no cannabinoids at all. That may explain why some fibromyalgia patients say they have no response to the oil at all. Quality matters, so it is best to either Make your own CBD oil or buy the CBD oil from a good brand.

Cannabis Bath Bombs Recipe

You can create a mix of THC and CBD bath bombs, or only make CBD infused bath bombs. CBD bath bombs may be a good option for people who do not want or are not able to use THC.

You can make your own cannabis oil or buy CBD oil online, we used Cbdpure for this recipe, which is a great CBD brand and easy to dose the milligrams correctly.

Ingredients:

  • 100mg CBD from CBDpure
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil or coconut oil.
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup Citric Acid
  • 1/2 cup Epsom Salt
  • 1/2 cup corn starch
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • Food colouring of your choice
  • Your choice of essentials oils 30-40 drops

Directions

  1. Place the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix together with a whisk.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the liquid ingredients together, including the CBD oil until well blended.
  3. In the large bowl, very slowly add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients at little bit at a time. Mixture should hold together when squeezed without crumbling.
  4. When well mixed, pack the mixture into your bath bomb mold and pack tightly, then let it dry. Make sure you work quickly so the mixture doesn’t dry out in the process.
  5. Bath Bombs need a full day to fully harden. If they’re not quite hardened enough, they may crumble when you handle them, so check to make sure before taking them completely out of the mold

    • They are amazing I have a broken back and I bought like 6 of them from the club here but with both CBD & THC OIL in them and it works so wonderful for pain and relief from sore muscles.. I highly recommend them and will be making my own very soon with this recipe ?

  1. Thanks for publishing that recipe. Sounds relatively easy, and inexpensive, to make one’s own CBD Bath Bombs. I have a good supply of pureCBD and didn’t know what to do with it, and now I’m heading to the store to get the Epsom salts needed.

  2. Thank you for this article.I have RSD and on some harsh meds I would like to start using CBC oils for my pain but I need a lot of information to start . THANK YOU JAN

  3. I already make and sell bath bombs, and would like to try this. If I wanted THC and CBD combined bath bombs, would I used 50% of each or a different percentage?

  4. Hemp derived Cbd will not get you high ? It’s the healthy not high side of the cannabis family. For us, the purity mattered. after reaserching for a few months we found it(it’s not this one). It’s been life changing in our home.
    Excited to try this recipe!

    • Would u be willing to share w me what company u use or how I can purchase the one u found to be the best. I seem to not be able to find good quality ; ( it’s for fibromyalgia and arthritis etc. Thank u. Umm my email don’t work

    • CBD won’t get you high. It’s the THC that does that and only if you intake a dose that your body isn’t used to. I use CBD oil to manage my daytime fibromyalgia pain and a hybrid 1:1 CBD:THC oil for bedtime. For both, you start off low d& slowly increase the dosage as your body gets used to it.

      • How do you make it I’d like to do it I got severe arthritis rheumatoid hate taking the medicine they got me on makes me sick

  5. I have fibromyalgia and no meds have worked for me so far. But I also work a government job so would I test positive for a drug test using this as a bath bomb? Thank you

  6. Can u buy bath bombs made up or do you have to make them yourself I have Fibromaylia osteoarthritis and athirtic wear and tear in hand can’t sleep either

  7. I see a pain Specialist monthly for injections from my fibromyalgia and Osteoarthritis . I get drug tested on occasions and it does not show up. CBD oil does not show up! It’s only hemp, not Cannabis.

  8. Is this legal in MS. Please my son. Daughter-in-law have severe pain from back low back and her high back ??? Where can I buy if it is !

  9. Get CBD that contains no THC. Some say they don’t contain THC but do in trace amounts up to 0.3%. Make sure you know what you’re getting first.

  10. I am So Excited to get this started! I make all sorts of cannabis/cbd infused things to help people and I can’t wait to add this to my menu. And most definitely trying it myself. I’ve been suffering from pain half my life with all sorts of problems and what’s better than relieving some of your pain with something you made yourself!! Thank you soo much for sharing this, I super appreciated it. It will help many people that I communicate with and also myself!!

  11. I use and sell CBD oil that is 100% organically sourced in Colorado. It’s a full spectrum hemp oil, water soluble and 92% absorbable and lasts up to 12 hours, so it’s the best CBD available, in my opinion.
I’m excited to try this bath bomb recipe with our oil. Please contact me if you want to know more about this product. It’s Zilis Ultra Cell and you can contact me at Hemp Health Hope & Happiness on Facebook. Comment or message me. I’m Angie!

  12. So do you add the entire 2 oz bottle of CBD oil? You gave measurements for everything else but only gave the mg of 100 for the CBD oil and not the amount?

  13. Hi I don’t have a bath only a walk in shower, I’m very interested to know if you can make anything to use in the shower.
