Turkey Time!

No Thanksgiving is complete without a big, fat juicy turkey. Here’s how to cook up a perfect weed-infused turkey dinner:

A proper cannabis Thanksgiving meal needs a weed infused turkey. This delicious slow roasted cannabis turkey recipe will be the star of the evening. You will need to organize ahead of time as this bad boy takes 8 to 9 hours to cook. Prior to roasting, we injected the turkey with cannabis butter and also used cannabis butter for the stuffing. To limit waste of cannabis butter, we used the fat drippings from the turkey to make a delicious cannabis infused gravy.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole turkey (12lb/5.5kg) 
  • 1 cup Cannabis butter
  • 1 large onion diced in small cubes
  • 3 medium carrots diced in small cubes
  • 5 garlic cloves diced small
  • 14 ounce packaged bread stuffing cubes
  • 1 Tbs dried thyme
  • salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine bread stuffing cubes together with carrots, onions, garlic, thyme and salt to taste. 
  • Melt 1 cup cannabis butter and use half to combine in the stuffing mix.
  • Use the other half to put in a turkey syringe and inject the turkey with cannabis butter from different angles.
  • Fill your turkey with your cannabis stuffing and season rub whole turkey with salt, pepper, paprika powder and a tbsp of oil.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 F.
  • Place turkey in the oven and let it slow cook for 9 hours.
  • Check the temp of the thigh meat and the thickest part of the breast.
  • If they aren't at 64ºC yet then give it more time.
  • Once fully cooked, crank the oven up to 350F and let it roast for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and gorgeous.

Cannabis pumpkin pie recipe
So you're enjoying a completely infused cannabis Thanksgiving meal. Be sure to save some room for a weed infused dessert. Remember, your standard THC edible recipe like brownies or gummies won’t do.  Cannabis Pumpkin Pie is going to be the finishing touch for this weed dinner!
You can make your cannabis pumpkin pie with Cannabutter or with canna sugar, but we find cannabis butter a better option for this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked pie crust 
  • 1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin purée 
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves or allspice
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Cannabis butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Line the pie crust with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • Bake until the edges just start to brown, 12 to 15 minutes on 400F. Remove from the oven and keep near the stove. 
  • Place the pumpkin purée, granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves or allspice in a food processor fitted with the blade attachment or blender.
  • Blend until the brown sugar is completely mixed in and the purée looks glossy.
  • Transfer the mixture to a large saucepan and place over medium-high heat. Stir frequently until incorporated for 3 minutes.
  • Remove the pan from the heat. Whisk in the milk, cannabis butter and cream.
  • Once the mixture is cooled off a little, slowly whisk the eggs into the saucepan with the pumpkin mixture until smooth.
  • Whisk in the vanilla.
  • Carefully pour the warm pumpkin mixture into the warm pie crust.
  • Carefully transfer the baking sheet with the pie to the oven on 350F for 50 to 60 minutes.
  • Let the pie cool to room temperature before serving — it will continue to set as it cools.

  • 2 quarts cranberry juice cocktail 
  • 1 quart sparkling water
  • 1 6-oz can frozen pink lemonade, (thawed)
  • 1/4 cup Cannabis Sugar
  • 4 – 6 orange slices

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine cannabis sugar and 1 cup water.  
  • Bring to a boil and take of the hear once sugar is dissolved.
  • In a large container, combine the cranberry juice cocktail, the sparkling water and the thawed pink lemonade concentrated. Stir and serve.

Cannabis Butter – Perfect For Thanksgiving #4

Cannabutter goes with virtually anything. Melt it on bread, drizzle it over stuffing, turkey, or potatoes.

Weed butter is any dinner’s best friend.

To make any recipe a cannabis infused recipe, you will need to extract the important cannabis compounds in either a fat or alcohol. In this recipe we will give you step by step instructions on how to make cannabis butter to make this Thankgiving meal a truly unforgettable one.
You will need to start with the decarboxylating process to acitvate the THC in your herb. This can simply be done by heating the cannabis in the oven for 45 minutes on 240F. This process is followed by infusing your decarbed herb with clarified butter. To do this, you will need to combine the ingredients and heat them together for another 2 hours. (See steps below)
Once the cannabis butter is done, you can store it in the fridge and use it in the recipes that require cannabis butter.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 Ounce Cannabis
  • 1 cup clarified Butter
  • 1 Tsp Lecithin

Instructions

  • Decarb your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
  • Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 45 minutes, and  let it cool.
  • Grind your dry cannabis or chop it fine.
  • Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add clarified butter and 1 tsp of sunflower lecithin (optional)
  • Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 hours.
  • Strain your butter through a cheesecloth or unused pantyhose.
  • Cool down
  • Now you can use the Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter)
