Make your own vegan cannabis butter at home from scratch

Making vegan cannabis butter is not much different from regular cannabutter. All you really need to do is replacing regular butter for dairy free butter. The most important part is the fat content of the vegan butter.
Cannabis can only be infused with alcohol or fat. Vegan butters like margarine are a great way to infuse your cannabis with when you are looking for a dairy free option. You can even take it a step further and make vegan butter from scratch. If you make veganbutter from seeds you just need to make sure the fat content is high in the 80 to 90 percent.
Once you have decided your choice of dairy free butter, it’s time to infuse it with some weed. Follow our simple instructions below, and use your vegan cannabis butter for any vegan recipe you like.

  • 1/4 to 1/2 Ounce Cannabis
  • 1 cup Vegan butter (such as margarine)
  • 1 tsp sunflower lecithin


  • Decarb your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
  • Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 25 till 45 minutes, and  let it cool.
  • Grind your dry cannabis or chop it fine.
  • Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add vegan butter and 1 tsp of sunflower lecithin (optional)
  • Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Strain your vegan cannabis butter through a cheesecloth or unused pantyhose.
  • Cool down
  • Now you can use your vegan cannabutter in any vegan recipe you like.
