You may have had meatballs before, but you’ve never had The Best Swedish Marijuana Meatballs.

Now for all you meat-lovers out there, you might tbe wondering if there’s truth to this claim.

You’ll have to try it out this week and let me know!

Easy to make, and even easier to enjoy – Swedish meatballs are the tastiest pairing with just about any meal.


Ingredient List

You’ll need to do a grocery shop to make sure you have everything, and trust me – you’ll fall in love.

Special Tip: You can make a double batch of these, freeze them and pull them out anytime you need.


  • onion
  • cannabis oil (OR olive oil – you choose)
  • ground beef
  • panko breadcrumbs
  • eggs
  • parsley
  • all spice
  • nutmeg
  • garlic powder
  • salt & pepper
  • cannabis butter
  • flour
  • broth ( beef is best)
  • heavy cream
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Dijon mustard

How To Make Cannabutter

Of course we’re using cannabutter in our meatballs!

But if you haven’t made it before, follow our easy-to-make bud butter recipe below.

A recipe on how to make cannabis butter at home. After many cannabutter recipes, we find that this is by far the best way to infuse weed with butter.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 Ounce Cannabis 
  • 1 cup Butter

Instructions

  • Decarboxylate your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
  • Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 25 till 45 minutes, and then let it cool.
  • Grind your dry cannabis or chop it till fine.
  • Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add butter and (1 tsp of sunflower lecithin)(optional)
  • Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Strain your butter through a cheesecloth.
  • Cool down
  • Now you can use the Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter)

Notes

If using a mason jar, be sure to start with cold water. Furthermore, it is imperative to let the water cool gradually so that your glass will not shatter.

  • Parchment Paper
  • Large Bowl

Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 1/2 onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cannabis oil or olive oil
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp parsley fresh & chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Sauce

  • 4 tbsp cannabis butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 pinch salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Saute your chopped onion in oil until translucent.
  • In a large bowl, combine meatball ingredients with your hands. Form medium sized balls and place onbaking sheet.
  • Bake for 20 minutes.

SAUCE

  • On medium-high heat, melt cannabutter and add the flour. Continuously whisk until it turns a nice golden brown. Then add in the broth and heavy cream and whisk.
  • Add in Worcestershire, and Dijon. Mix and bring everything to a boil.
  • Lower heat to simmer and cook until the sauce thickens.
  • Then, add in your meatballs and gently cover sauce over top – for a few minutes.
