Cannabis-Infused Mashed Potatoes

One staple of a Thanksgiving meal and usually the favorite, are the mashed potatoes. My family fights over who will be the “taste tester” when making them, consequently I give out extra spoonfuls, which makes them happy.
Cannabis-infused butter together with mashed potatoes will have you saying Happy Danksgiving. Cannabis mashed potatoes could easily become the staple at cannabis-infused meals. These potatoes are rustic leaving some of the delicious skins left on them. Tiny little pieces of potatoes are left in it and they’re creamy. This is such a classic recipe with a cannabis twist, it’ll be the most comforting dish of the night for you.

Ingredients

  • 4 LBs. Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1 Stick of regular butter
  • 3 Tbsp Cup cannabutter
  • 2 Tbs Black pepper
  • 2 Tbs Salt
  • 1 Tsp Parsley
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. Peel and cube potatoes.
  2. Bring a large pot of cold water to boil, add potatoes and cook for 25 minutes or until fork-tender.
  3. Drain water from the pot and mash potatoes making sure all chunks are gone, with a potato masher in the pot. 
  4. Add Canna-Butter, regular butter, sour cream, and milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder mix well until smooth and creamy.
  5. Serve in a large serving bowl. Garnish with parsley and 1 Tbsp of melted butter on top.
