Robbers drive truck through Marijuana shop, stealing weed Edibles

Robbers in a white pickup truck crashed through the wall of a Detroit marijuana dispensary owned by a former Fox 2 anchor Monday morning, doing up to $20,000 in damage and stealing a couple thousand dollars of Weed edibles.

The incident happened in the night of New Years eve at BotaniQ Detroit, according to Richard Sarfoh, who owns the shop with his wife, Anqunette Jamison Sarfoh, a former Fox 2 anchor,

He said security video showed between four and six people in the truck.

The cannabis flower and valuables were locked in a vault, which the robbers were unable to access, Richard Sarfoh said.

They did get away with edibles, including gummies and suckers, as well as CBD oil. A complete accounting of the stolen items hadn’t yet been completed, but Sarfoh put a preliminary value at more than $2,000.

Robbers smashed cabinets and countertops, in addition to the brick block building’s wall. Sarfoh estimated damage at between $10,000 and $20,000.
