My cannabis cooking adventure started with making weed butter.
Since then, I’ve been making weed edibles and have known MANY others who’ve started to make them as well.
I’m going to show you one of my favorite weed-edible recipes that makes use of the weed butter we make.
No-Bake Pot Pretzel Peanut Butter Bars – YUMMM!
These simple No-Bake Pot Pretzel Peanut Butter Bars are great for an afternoon snack or dessert.
First, though, we have to make sure that you have cannabutter on hand.
Cannabutter is a cannabis infused-butter that you can make easily with butter and decarbed weed.
If you haven’t decarbed weed before or made cannabutter no worries! Recipes and how-to below.
And if you find yourself to be more of a cannabis connoisseur, scroll down for the recipe instead.
You can put anything in these bars! Chocolate chips, M&Ms, crushed pretzels—just make sure the ingredient has a crunchy texture to it.
What Is Decarboxylation?
Decarbing is the single most important thing you need to do, learn and stick with when making weed edibles.
It’s a big fancy word, but it basically means heating up your weed in the oven, low and slow, to activate the THC!
Failure to do this could result in a horrible high, and not-so-great weed edibles.
Decarboxylate your weed by spreading your cannabis evenly on an oven tray And coat with aluminum foil.
Place in the oven on 240F/115C for 25 till 45 minutes, and then let it cool.
Grind your dry cannabis or chop it till fine.
Place the cannabis in a strong mason jar, add butter and (1 tsp of sunflower lecithin)(optional)
Place your closed jar in cold water and let it come to a boil, Boil for 2 to 3 hours.
Strain your butter through a cheesecloth.
Cool down
Now you can use the Cannabis Butter (Cannabutter)
