Is CBD Good For Arthritis?

If you’ve been experiencing painful joint issues and swelling, a great question to explore to improve wellness is: Is CBD Good For Arthritis?

There really is no particular age where arthritis creeps into your joints, but generally speaking the older you get, the more chances you may have.

Because CBD has been studied and researched to provide effective relief when it comes to inflammation ( which is what arthritis is) it may be the best thing you could do for yourself!

What Is Arthritis?

Arthritis is the swelling, tenderness, and inflammation of joints in your body.

The most common types of arthritis are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Osteoarthritis causes the cartilage in your joints to break down – which can cause a ton of pain and tenderness.

Rheumatoid arthritis is a disease where the immune system attaches your joints, beginning with the lining of the joints – causing inflammation, pain and more tenderness.

Symptoms of Arthritis

You may have asked yourself if you have arthritis – I know I have!

A long time knuckle-cracker, I have experienced some of these tell-tale signs and symptoms below:

  • Pain
  • Stiffness in joints, fingers, toes, hips
  • Swelling
  • Redness in areas where joints bend like knees, ankles, wrists
  • Decreases range of motion – meaning where you could once bend or twist, it hurts to do so.

How Does CBD Alleviate Symptoms of Arthritis?

Studies continue to emerge on the positive and beneficial effects of cannabis on arthritis and other inflammatory diseases.

What we know so far is that cannabis may act as an anti-inflammatory pain relief solution.

This is promising for those suffering with arthritis as inflammation is the number one sign and culprit of this condition.

And to add insult to injury (so-to-speak) arthritis can be very painful.Period.

It has also been researched that cannabis may be a big contender when it comes to alleviating pain.

Sounds promising right?

Way #3: CBD Capsules

CBD capsules are great for two main reasons. The first is that if you don’t care to take straight oil under your tongue, a capsule is the next best thing.

Secondly, CBD capsules are discreet, easy to swallow and can travel with you just about anywhere.

It’s important to note here, that when CBD products say that they are Isolate or Broad-Spectrum, it means that these products do NOT contain THC – the psychoactive ingredient that gets you high.

Taking a yummy CBD gummy (with no THC) is a fun, easy and tasty way to get your daily dose of CBD!

Lubricate those joints, and start to feel some relief when taking CBD gummies on a regular basis.
