How to Make CBD Deodorant

If you’re looking for a natural and effective product for your pits, then keep reading because we’re going to teach you how to make CBD Deodorant.

There are potential dangers as well as irritants that many deodorants can cause including harmful chemicals, and even lumps and bumps.

What Are The Toxins Lurking in Your Deodorant?

  1. Aluminum– It’s the ingredient in antiperspirants that clog pores and prevent sweating. (and you need to sweat!)
  2. Parabens ( it is said that parabens disrupt hormones which may cause cancer)
  3. Propylene Glycol – otherwise known as a skin irritant, and may also cause harmful effects to your organs
  4. TEA and DEA – ethanolamine compounds that are emulsifying agents, fragrances, and pH adjusters

Some of these toxins are regarded as toxic enough in the European Union to be banned from make-up and skin care!

We also create good and bad bacteria under our arms, and some of the stronger deodorants on the market may help us out, what we don’t realize is that we’re also killing the good bacteria and it might cause us to stink even more!

CBD May Have Positive Effects on The Skin

Some of the many wellness benefits of CBD include:

arm pits

What’s the Purpose of Deodorants?

The simplest way to describe the purpose of pit-stick is that deodorants are used to kill odor-producing bacteria. (cue the stink from your underarms)

Deodorant works on the bacteria that sits on top of the skin, and prevents the odor from escaping from your armpits.

When we sweat or perspire, the bacteria under our arms digest the fats and proteins from our sweat.

Plus, it keeps us smelling fresh and fragrant – which is always a good thing, right?!

All-Natural Deodorant Benefits

For the most part, all-natural deodorants are gentle on the skin.

They also contain natural PH balancers that help to improve your underarm’s system and situation the more you use them.

Plus, they contain natural conditioners so your skin won’t feel irritable, dry or stressed out.

Because you’ll be transitioning to an all-natural deodorant, give your body some time to adjust. You may notice that you begin to omit a foul odor – but stay strong and keep using the natural stuff!

After a few weeks for most, your body will adjust and you’ll notice that you smell fresh and fragrant while you reduce the amount of chemicals you put into your body.

I would recommend using this CBD oil in your recipe and ensuring that you use a quality CBD sugar scrub under your pits weekly to get rid of dry skin.

Just rub gently, as the skin in our armpits is sensitive! You can do this before you shave or wax as well. It’s a great skincare routine to practice.

The armpits are an often overlooked area of the body and we should actually focus our attention on them for great health, wellness, and overall well-being!
