How To Create A DIY Weed Dispensary

If you’re looking for a fun and aesthetically pleasing way to hold and display your cannabis collection, keep reading as we show you How To Create A DIY Weed Dispensary.

Long gone are the days of plastic baggies and re-using old M&M containers, or Altoid tins to hold our weed, capsules, etc.

Maybe I’m dating myself, BUT hear me out!

Now with popular TV shows like Marie Kondo, and The Home Edit, plus Khloe Kardashian’s new and luxe pantry she’s posting on Instagram, it’s time for you to come into this century and DIY your weed stash!

What Do I Need For My DIY Dispensary?

First, and foremost – you’ll need your weed, capsules, gummies, and all of your favourite weed accessories.

Just place them all together in one spot in the kitchen so you have everything you need.

Next, you’ll need to assess the situation and eyeball how many glass jars or mason jars you’re going to need to start this awesome DIY.

You’ll Want to Get:

  • mason jars of all sizes
  • black chalk label stickers ( so you can change it up as the weed changes)
  • dispensary jars (glass) with seal-tight lids
  • white chalk marker
  • any missing cannabis such as weed for sleep (Hindu Kush) or weed for creativity and energy (Super Lemon Haze) and anything else you can think of!
  • missing accessories like papers, lighters, vapes, etc and matching jars for those accessories too

5 Best Tips:

  1. Only purchase glass jars – seeing what you have helps your visual memory, and lets you know when it’s time to stock up again
  2. Make sure every jar has a lid – you need to tightly seal your weed and products to prevent mould
  3. Buy more labels than you need in case you make mistakes
  4. Find a spot that is pleasant to look at it – either on a shelf, or in your pantry, but is not directly in the sun or bright light 24-7 – this may damage or alter your products.
  5. Grab everything at your local dollar or discount store to save money and get a gorgeous dispensary in less than an hour

What Else Can I Stock In My Dispensary?

Another great idea is to stock your recipe cards, or make a favourite recipe to try out, and have it handy anytime you feel the munchies coming on.

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons
  • Cookies Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Softened Cannabis Butter
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanills extract
  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 tbsp milk any kind
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Cups While chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a large bowl using a hand-held or stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together on medium high speed until fluffy and light in color. On high speed, beat in the egg and vanilla extract. Scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl as needed.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt together until combined. With the mixer running on low speed, slowly pour into the wet ingredients. Beat on low until combined. The cookie dough will be quite thick. Switch to high speed and beat in the milk, then the white chocolate chips. The cookie dough will be sticky. Cover dough tightly with aluminum foil or plastic wrap and chill for at least 3 hours.
  • Remove cookie dough from the refrigerator and allow to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes. If the cookie dough chilled longer than 3 hours, let it sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes. This makes the chilled cookie dough easier to scoop and roll.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line large baking sheets with parchment paper
  • Scoop and roll dough. Place on cookie sheet. Bake for 11-12 minutes. Allow for 5 minutes of cooling time out of the oven, and then press more chocolate chips on top.
