CBD Personal Lubricant: What It Does & What It Doesn’t Do For You.

When it comes to intimate time with your partner or alone, it’s time to discover CBD Personal Lubricant: What It Does & What It Doesn’t Do For You.

Maybe you’ve never had the need to use lube, or maybe it’s something you just haven’t explored yet sexually.

Whatever the case, we think Cannabis and sex go hand-in-hand and here’s some great reasons why!

Cannabis & Sex Go Hand-In-Hand

In 2017, Stanford University researchers confirmed what Cannabis users have already unofficially known: Weed can enhance your sex life.

To get these sexy results, researchers surveyed more than 55,000 Cannabis consumers who had sex about 20% more than those not using weed.

What’s something that should be in every person’s nightstand? A good, quality lubricant.

You may not want to use lube because for some, it’s a signal that sexual desire has diminished.

But, an Indiana University study found that 70% of 2,453 women surveyed said that using lube made sex more pleasant and enjoyable! Hmmm…

Lube could be a game-changer for women experiencing perimenopause or menopause, too.

It’s not just women who benefit from lubricant – men can enjoy this while pleasuring themselves or their partners and in some cases, Lube is as normal as a cup of coffee in the morning.

Bonus Sex Tip: Lube can help sex last longer and feel better!

But What About CBD Lube?

Does adding CBD to lubricants make for better sex or by-yourself-pleasure sessions?

While we don’t have conclusive CBD-infused lubricant evidence, there is a lot of research on CBD in general!

CBD Has Been Known To:

  1. Support muscle relaxation
  2. Decrease anxiety
  3. Lowers inflammation
  4. Increase a sense of relaxation and well-being
  5. Uplifts mood, decreases depression
  6. Helps heal chronic pain

All of the above and many more benefits are relevant to using CBD as a lubricant.

What is CBD Lube Used For? Is it Safe?

Most people are using CBD lube, and weed at large, to enhance sex.

This could be either to get more pleasure from a romp in bed or to reduce pain.

For some women who experience difficulty with having orgasms or who use it to improve their libido, CBD Lube can definitely be an asset.

When used with coconut oil, CBD lube can be a safe option but read on to learn more.

Cannabis is a vasodilator and can increase blood flow when applied directly to an area, increasing sensation!

What is Lube Made Of?

Lubricants are either water-based, silicone-based or made from oils.

Some current on-the-market best sellers contain preservatives and chemicals which could hurt the pH balance in women that occurs naturally, and potentially cause infection.

Trying to get pregnant? Some lubricants can attack sperm – so buyer beware!

CBD may also affect some of the medications you’re taking, especially if it’s birth control.

A popular base for CBD lube is coconut oil. If you’re using a condom however, be careful and advised that sometimes coconut oil can break down latex.

Going ‘bareback’? Coconut oil & CBD oil as a lubricant – whether you make it yourself or buy it in an adult-store = GREAT!

Does CBD Lube Get You High?

Since CBD is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid, it doesn’t give you the traditional “high” feeling most THC-based products do.

What we can tell you based on personal experience and the feedback of thousands of sexually and happy humans is that the relaxing and anti-anxiety inducing properties of CBD may help women to relax and enjoy sex more.

In a survey conducted to interview more than 1000 people, sixty-eight percent of survey takers said that CBD, regardless of how they used it, improved their sexual experience, helped them relax, or improved their overall mood!

Unfortunately, there is currently very little clinical research on the effectiveness of CBD lube and sex.

Current CBD Lubes To Try

There are some nice lubes on the market, and you may consider giving them a try!

You can also mix a 1/4 cup of high quality, all-natural extra virgin coconut oil, with 20 mg’s of CBD Oil with a hand mixer or bullet-style blender.

Funnel into a squeeze-bottle, and store in a dark, cool place because some coconut oils tend to separate, or go bad – but this is a natural and creative way to try it at home before you decide to buy!
