4 Ingredient Keto CBD Cups

CBD and chocolate combined are what makes these treats incredible! Today we are making 4 Ingredient Keto CBD Cups.

It’s time to shine the light on CBD and how beneficial it is for your wellness!

Plus, when consumed, the work it can do internally provides so many more health benefits as we’ll explore today.

What Is CBD?

CBD stands for cannabidiol, which is the non-psychoactive part of the cannabis plant.

Unlike THC, CBD does not cause you to feel high.

Because there are no psychoactive effects of CBD, it is legal in all U.S states, as long as the THC count is 0.3 % or under.

CBD VS THC

Both CBD and THC interact with the endocannabinoid system in your body in a positive and healthy way.

The main difference between the two is that CBD will not get you high, and THC will.

CBD VS Hemp

CBD can come from EITHER the marijuana OR hemp plant!

It’s important to know that CBD derived from hemp is not the same as hemp seeds you find on the shelves of your local grocery store.

Hemp seeds do not come from the whole cannabis plant like CBD hemp oil – we know, it can be confusing!

CBD Hemp is made from the seeds, where CBD is made from the whole cannabis plant (leaves, flowers, stems).

CBD can sometimes have traces of THC, unless it is an isolate or broad spectrum – this is where THC is removed entirely.

Hemp will have less than 1% of THC usually.

It’s important to note that CBD products can not currently make any kind of medical claims, so you won’t find words like ” reduces pain” on any CBD products even though there are studies and research showing that it might!

Some Health Benefits of CBD

CBD is known to ease inflammation, anxiety, depression and pain.

In addition to that, CBD may:

  • increase focus and clarity
  • improve mood and reduce nausea
  • work as a muscle relaxer
  • support healthy digestion
  • decrease chronic pain

How Does CBD Interact With Your Body?

Some nerdy scientific facts that some of you reading may find fascinating:

The endocannabinoid system helps regulate and balance mood, the immune system, hormones and sleep. WOW!

Within the endocannabinoid system, there are cannabinoid receptors.

CB1 receptors are located in the brain and nervous system, and CB2 receptors are located in your immune system.

This means, that the human body is able to make it’s own cannabinoids, and when taking CBD, it increases responses, can boost the immune system, and work in synchronicity with your brain to support health and wellness overall.
